2022 Holiday Gift Guide

I don’t know why I’ve never created holiday gift guides in the past. But I’ve read several gift guides this year that I absolutely loved (and will be borrowing ideas from). So thought, if you’ve been following me for a while, you must have a similar taste as me in certain things! So here are some things I think are worthy holiday gifts (that I probably would love for myself as well!)

Clothing

The Frankie Shop Oversized Blazer. If you’ve ever spotted a gorgeous super oversized blazer on Pinterest or on your favourite influencers on IG, they’re probably wearing this blazer. This price is fair (especially compared to some of their other blazers) and the fit is unbeatable.

GRLFRND Oversized Leather Jacket. I’ve been wearing this so much lately and it’s quickly grown to be one of my favourites. It’s the perfect amount of oversized, so that it still looks tailored in some way.

Alohas East Boot. These are just so beautifully made and easy to style. They come in several colours and I wear these all year around. Pairs great with a skirt, long dress, but are also skinny enough to fit under trousers when it’s colder.

The Frankie Shop Anya Oversized Coat. Can you tell I’m obsessed with oversized, menswear inspired pieces? The Frankie Shop definitely doe this aesthetic the best. This is high on my wish list (and may have to be my Christmas gift to myself this year).

Home

Harmon Kardon Soundsticks 4. These were on my wish list when I moved, and I knew I had to get them. The sound quality is amazing but they also look like an art piece in your home. Perfect for those who love a clean aesthetic but still love to jam to music around the house.

Fellow White Stagg EKG Electric Kettle. If you’re a tea drinker, pour over drinker, or even just americano drinker (like me), a kettle is a crucial item for your home. Nothing beats the aesthetic of the Fellow coffee products. And for your hot drink connoisseurs, this will be a much-loved item.

Caraway Cookware Set. I’ve been using my Caraway set for about 5 months now and I am absolutely in love with them. The non-stick is unmatched, and they’re still some of the best look cookware I’ve ever owned. I have it in beige, but I love how they have several different colour options if you’re looking for something more colourful.

Wooj Wavy Lamp. Such a cute lamp (at a very reasonable price!) and will make a simple, yet fun, addition to anyone’s home.

Pet

Carhartt Collar & Leash Set. I actually really love the Carhartt pet gear (Mika has a leash, harness, and jacket) and they now have super cute options like this tan collar & leash set. I know I personally love when people gift Mika instead of me for birthdays or holidays.

Canada Pooch Jacket. I got Mika this silver jacket and it just warms my heart every time she gets to wear it. It’s perfect for the winter time because she LOVES to be in the snow.

Slow Feeder. If your dog is like mine, she DEVOURS her food without chewing. We have to feed every meal in a slow feeder just so she doesn’t end up choking or gagging after eating. But oh man, what a difference it makes.

Yes! Dog Treats. I’m a firm believer that having just the right high reward treats is the secret to easier dog training. Mika has never turned down Yes! dog treats (yes, she now sometimes turns down treats now), and they’re our favourite treats ever.

Tech

Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse. This mouse changed my life. I’m not even remotely kidding. It’s one of the most comfortable mice I’ve ever used and I could never go back to a regular mouse (or one of those beautiful but very uncomfortable Apple mice).

BenQ GV11 Portable Smart Projector. BenQ came out with another awesome, portable projector and I’m obsessed. This one allows you to easily project onto your ceiling so you can literally watch a movie while laying in bed. It also has a built in smart TV functionality which allows you to use all your favourite streaming sites right from the projector.

Yousams Ring Light Selfie Pod. Vancouver gets incredibly dark during the fall and winter and this light has been a lifesaver for content creation. It’s pretty heavy, but it means you can set it on any surface without worrying about it getting knocked over easily.

Samsung T7 Portable SSD. Not the most exciting gift (or maybe it is? Who am I to judge), but definitely one that’s needed for most. I’m in disbelief that some of my friends still keep everything under the sun on their laptops, and then wonder why their laptops slow down. Having a portable SSD has made my work flow 10x faster (and more portable) and I could never go back.
